Constantly pushing myself as a songwriter, I wanted to create an interesting song with just one single chord. It took quite a while to magic up an interesting song melody that didn’t bore the crap out of me within the first few bars!

When the melody finally came together after a couple of days, I opened up my TS10 composer workstation looking for sampled instruments to play in this production, if I was to record it? It took me weeks and weeks to slowly piece together an arrangement that was interesting too. Because I was limited to a single chord nearly everything I played was boring almost instantly. The more I parts that I played into the sequences the more interesting it got. I finished the whole production including the recording session after about two and a half months. It was a very long one but it was fun playing around with orchestral instruments on the workstation.

Lyrics wise, I am referencing how our societies are purposefully created and run to keep most of us constantly striving. The divides between the privileged wealthy few and the rest of us are astronomical, which suits them perfectly and it always has done.
